First Reconciliation – this is for children 2nd grade and older. Registration for First Reconciliation will be in 2012. First Communion - This is for children 2nd grade and up. Two classes and one retreat will be held starting March 25, 2012.The sacrament will be held on May 5 & 6, 2012.Please register by March 6, 2012.
RCIC (Rite of Catholic Initiation for Children) - This is for older children who have not received the Sacraments of Initiation. This will likely begin in January 2012.Call or email for details.
Religious Education Classes are held on Tuesdays from 4-5pm.If you have any questions or would like to volunteer (see volunteer opportunities below), please see contact information below. Liturgy of the Word for Children (LWC) is held during the 9:45am Mass. This is for children, grades prek (age 4) - 5th grade. After the opening prayer, the Celebrant invites the children and catechists to the leave the Congregation and go to their own place of worship for the Liturgy of the Word, returning in time for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. There is no LWC on Christmas and New Years Day weekends, Palm Sunday, Easter, 1st Communion Sunday, or the Sunday before Vacation Bible School. Children's Bulletins Children's Bulletins are available in the plaza, after each mass. There is one for 3-6 year olds and one for 7-12 year olds.
Cub Scout Pack 747 For boys grade 1-5th. Build character, spiritual growth, citizenship, sportsmanship, family bonding, respect, and fun. Family camping, monthly den and pack meetings and preparation for Boy scouts.
